Walking
From the Skaftafell Visitor Centre, head south on the main walking path that leads to the Skaftafellsjökull glacier. Follow the signs for Morsárfoss. The path is well-marked and will take you through beautiful landscapes. After approximately 2 kilometers, you'll reach a viewpoint where you can see the glacier. Continue on the path for another 1 kilometer, and you'll arrive at Morsárfoss, where you can enjoy the stunning waterfall.
Biking
If you have rented a bike, start from the Skaftafell Visitor Centre. Follow the same walking path toward Skaftafellsjökull glacier. Biking is allowed on the paths, and you can cover the 3 kilometers to Morsárfoss faster. Just be cautious of other hikers and the terrain. Once you reach the waterfall, there are areas to lock your bike securely.
Guided Tour
For those who prefer a guided experience, check with local tour operators at the Skaftafell Visitor Centre. Many offer guided hikes to Morsárfoss, including transportation from the visitor center. Prices vary, so inquire about costs when you arrive.
