    From the Skaftafell Visitor Center, head south on Route 1 (Ring Road) for approximately 12 kilometers. After passing the Svínafell area, look for the sign indicating the turn for Svínafell and continue on the gravel road until you reach the parking area near the trailhead for Peak Fabí. Please note that the road may be a bit rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is generally free.

Once you arrive at Skaftafell, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or shuttle service to reach the Svínafell area, as public transport does not directly service that location.
