From the Skaftafell Visitor Center, head south on Route 1 (Ring Road) for approximately 12 kilometers. After passing the Svínafell area, look for the sign indicating the turn for Svínafell and continue on the gravel road until you reach the parking area near the trailhead for Peak Fabí. Please note that the road may be a bit rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is generally free.
