    Car

    If you're traveling by car and are already in Skaftafell, head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach a junction where you will see signs for Nacional Skaftafell. Turn left onto the access road, which will lead you directly to the parking area for Nacional Skaftafell. Please note that there may be a parking fee, so have your payment method ready.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you will want to check for bus services that operate along Route 1. Look for the bus that heads towards the town of Höfn and get off at the Skaftafell stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 kilometer south along the main road until you reach the entrance of Nacional Skaftafell. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary by season.

    Walking

    If you are already in the Skaftafell area, and prefer walking, you can reach Nacional Skaftafell by following the marked trails starting from the Skaftafell Visitor Center. The trails are well maintained and will guide you through scenic views, leading you to Nacional Skaftafell in about 30 minutes of walking.
