If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Reykjavík. Head east on Laugavegur street, and continue until it turns into Hringbraut road. Follow Hringbraut until you reach the intersection with Árbæjarlind. Take a left onto Árbæjarlind and continue straight. Eventually, you will see signs for Árbær Open Air Museum as you approach Kistuhylur road. The museum is located at Kistuhylur 110, 110 Reykjavík. There is parking available at the museum, which is free of charge.
