    If you are driving from the town of Reykjanesbær, take Route 41 towards Reykjavík. After approximately 20 minutes, take the exit onto Route 43. Continue on Route 43 for about 15 minutes until you reach a junction. Here, turn left onto Route 40. Follow Route 40 for another 10 minutes, then take the exit toward Route 408. Follow Route 408 for about 5 minutes. Þjóðhátíðarlundur will be on your right, look for the parking area.
