From Reykjavík, head southwest on Route 41 towards Keflavík Airport. Continue on Route 41 until you reach Route 43. Take Route 43 towards Grindavík. When you reach Grindavík, look for signs for Route 427 (also known as the Blue Lagoon road). Follow Route 427 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the volcano trailhead. The GPS coordinates for the parking area are approximately 63.890611, -22.268919. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.
