If you are driving, start from the town of Selfoss. Head east on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Hvolsvöllur. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 50 km until you reach the junction for Route 38. Take the exit onto Route 38 towards Þingvellir. After about 10 km, keep left to stay on Route 38, which will turn into Route 246. Continue on Route 246 for approximately 30 km until you see the sign for Hvalsneskirkja on your left. The church is located at Hvalnes, 246.
