    From any location in the Southern Region, head towards Reykjavík via Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1). Continue driving on Route 1 for approximately 80-100 km, depending on your starting point. As you approach Reykjavík, follow the signs for 'Reykjavík' and merge onto Route 49 towards Hafnafjörður. Keep driving until you reach the intersection at Hringbraut (Route 41). Turn left onto Hringbraut and continue straight for about 2 km. You will see Perlan on your right, located at Varmahlíð 1, 105 Reykjavík. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a small fee.

    If you prefer using public transportation, start at any bus terminal in the Southern Region and take a bus to Reykjavík. Bus companies like Strætó provide services to Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, you can take Bus 18 from the central bus terminal (BSI) towards 'Perlan'. The bus ride is approximately 15-20 minutes. The fare for a single ticket is around 470 ISK. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Perlan stop, it is just a short walk to the entrance of Perlan.

    For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from your accommodation in the Southern Region straight to Perlan in Reykjavík. Taxis can be booked via phone or through a taxi app. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on your location and will cost around 15,000-20,000 ISK depending on the distance and time of day.
