Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the Gullfoss waterfall area, which is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Reykjavik. From Reykjavik, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. After about 40 kilometers, take the exit to Route 35 (Þingvallavegur) towards Þingvellir National Park. Continue on Route 35 for about 60 kilometers, then turn left onto Route 37 towards Gullfoss. Follow the signs for Gullfoss, and upon arrival, park at the designated Gullfoss Parking area. Sigrídur is located at this parking area, which is a historical landmark commemorating Iceland's first environmentalist.

To reach Sigrídur via public transportation, you can take a bus from Reykjavik to Gullfoss. Start by heading to the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik. From there, look for the bus service operated by 'Reykjavik Excursions' or 'Straeto' that goes to Gullfoss. The bus ride will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Gullfoss bus stop, it is a short walk to the Gullfoss Parking area where Sigrídur is located.
