From Stykkisholmur, head to the local bus station located near the harbor area. Look for the bus service that goes towards Búðir. After about a 3-hour walk (approximately 12 km), you will reach Búðir. Look for the iconic black church, Búðakirkja, on your right as you approach the area.

Bicycle

For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Stykkisholmur. Begin your ride from the town center, heading south towards Route 54. The route is well-marked and will take you through beautiful landscapes. The distance is about 12 km and should take around 40-50 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Búðir, Búðakirkja will be visible from the road.
