Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Stykkisholmur, head southwest towards the harbor. Walk along the main street, Borgarbraut, until you reach the intersection with Snæfellsnesvegur. Turn left onto Snæfellsnesvegur and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and residences along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Good View. When you see a small parking area on your right, Good View is located just a short distance ahead on the left side of the road, at Snæfellsnesvegur, 371.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can take a scenic ride to Good View. Start at the center of Stykkisholmur and head towards the harbor. Follow Borgarbraut until you reach Snæfellsnesvegur, then turn left. Continue cycling along Snæfellsnesvegur for about 1.5 kilometers. The ride is mostly flat and offers beautiful views along the way. Look for the small parking area on your right, and Good View will be just ahead on the left side of the road, at Snæfellsnesvegur, 371.

• Public Transport

  Currently, there are no direct public transport options to Good View from Stykkisholmur. However, you can take a local bus that travels along the Snæfellsnesvegur route. Check the bus schedule for departure times from the bus station in Stykkisholmur. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to Snæfellsnesvegur, and walk towards the Good View location from there, which is approximately a 10-minute walk down the road.
