Starting from the center of Stykkishólmur, head towards the waterfront along Aðalgata street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Bókhlöðustígur. Turn left onto Bókhlöðustígur. Vatnasafn will be located on your right, at number 19, just a short walk down the street. The entire walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Stykkishólmur town center and ride towards the coast along Aðalgata. After reaching the waterfront, continue cycling until you reach Bókhlöðustígur. Turn left onto Bókhlöðustígur and continue until you see Vatnasafn at number 19 on your right. This route should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
