Private 5 Day Iceland Adventure with Photos
Incredible Sights, Northern Lights and an Epic Adventure with the Auroraman!
All I can say is WOW!! We had the most EPIC adventure with Danny, aka the Auroraman! From start to finish Danny did not disappoint! I don’t even know where to begin because before we even arrived, Danny was amazing! From incredible communication and advice prior to our trip, Danny was always available to answer any questions we had. Then, when our flight from Greenland to Iceland was rescheduled by the airline to the next day and we couldn’t get to Reykjavik in time to get the hand knitted Icelandic sweaters we ordered, I mentioned it to Danny and he offered to pick them up for us so we had them for our trip. That kind gesture meant the world to us since we were so stressed out about the flight cancellation and losing our day in Reykjavik, but Danny was right there, saying don’t worry about it - I’ll take care of it. When we saw him the next day he had our sweaters and welcome treats waiting for us as we began our adventure! Over the course of five days Danny took us on an otherworldly, incredible, epic adventure to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. My husband wanted to visit some off the beaten path/not as touristy places and I wanted to see some of the touristy sights, so Danny created a great combination itinerary for us consisting of a mix of some Golden Circle spots, the South Coast, secret caves, glaciers, moss fields, lava fields, and the Icelandic Highlands! My husband was thrilled to go in the 4x4 Defender on the F Roads! We loved exploring the off the beaten path places. On our last day with Danny, I unfortunately took a bad fall so was unable to complete our last day with Danny, however, once again Danny went above and beyond, coming to our hotel the next day to check on me, along with a surprise of lamb stew and licorice treats! The two things I said I didn’t want to leave Iceland without having! Additionally, though the week proved to give us more rainy weather than not, we didn’t get to see the Aurora on our days with Danny, however, on our last night in Iceland there was a massive solar explosion and Danny called to say “Go outside NOW!” We jumped to our feet to go outside to an incredible spectacle of Lady Aurora lighting up the night sky! When the Auroraman says “Go NOW” you go now and you’ll be rewarded! A perfect end to a perfect trip with Danny! Oh, and a total bonus - when we arrived home we received a link of incredible photos Danny took for us! So special! We can’t wait to come back and see the next adventure the Auroraman has in store for us!

4-Day Small-Group Golden Circle, South Coast and Glacier Tour
Great tour with Lili
We had a great time on our tour, in large part thanks to our driver guide Lili, who is a very passionate, professional and friendly person. We saw a lot of waterfalls, a glacier, an ice cave, black beaches and more!

2-Day Tour in Iceland: Private South Coast with Diamond Beach
Truly customized experience!
We just finished our Private South Coast and Diamond Beach Tour by North Escape with Alex. And OMG what a trip it was! Our tour guide Alex is a true professional - expert in driving, storyteller and great photographer! He was entertaining us with stories along the way, customizing the tour for our needs and adjusting it because of the weather. From the start to the finish - everything was well taken care of. The communication before the trip was excellent, they answered a million questions we had and made sure we’re comfortable with the plan and timing during the tour. On the first day we adjusted stops along the way from Reykjavík, the rain and fog were not the best conditions for the sightseeing. We soaked wet during a hike to Skógafoss waterfall, even though we were in rain jackets. Made a short stop at Grotagja cave and at Reynisfjara black sand beach with basalt columns, it was quite impressive. The weather is changing very fast in Iceland, and midday we were rewarded with sunshine and no rain, so our raincoats could dry a bit:) Side note: make sure you have good water resistant rain coats and rain pants are a great addition! On first day we added Katla Ice Cave tour from KatlaTrack, highly recommended! It fitted well with our tour with Alex. Second day was sunny and warm, we started it at Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon with Ice Lagoon Amphibian Tour, continued to Diamond beach and then made 4 more stops on our way back to Keflavik. We visited gorgeous canyon Fjaðrárgljúfur, magical Kvernufoss with walk behind the fall, and grand and unforgettable Seljalandsfoss. Cherry on top - on our way to Keflavik Alex showed us the ‘new’ lava field formed just 2 years ago. We highly recommend Alex and North Escape company. We’re happy that we chose this private tour for our family of four. With group tours they usually rush you through the sights and you don’t have enough time to enjoy it to the fullest. Of course there’s also an option to rent a car and drive around by yourself, but it’s a lot of driving, and I mean A LOT. We chose to trust the driving to someone, who is not only familiar with the route, but literally knows every bump on the road:) We were not rushed, yet at the same time we were able to see everything we wanted. North Escape company truly customized the trip for us and helped us make an unforgettable memories about beautiful Iceland!
