After approximately 50 km, turn onto Route 35 towards Geysir. Continue on Route 35 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with Route F35, which leads into the Highlands. Drive on F35 for about 45 km, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Laugahraun. The lava field is located at approximately 63.9885° N, 19.0726° W. There is no entrance fee, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for Highland roads.
