Car
If you are driving to Landmannalaugar Camping, start by heading east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) from Reykjavik. After approximately 120 km, take the exit onto Route 30 towards Selfoss. Continue on Route 30 until you reach the junction with Route 32 and turn left. Follow Route 32 until you reach the intersection with Route 26 and turn right. Follow Route 26 to the junction with Route 208 and turn left onto Route 208, which is a gravel road. This road can be rough and is suitable for 4x4 vehicles. Continue for about 23 km until you reach the parking area for Landmannalaugar. From the parking area, follow the marked paths to the camping site, which is about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot.
