Take Route 35, which leads you deeper into the Highlands. Continue on Route 35 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Panorama Ridge. Turn onto the gravel road and follow the signs to the parking area.

Public transportation options are limited in the Highlands. The best bet is to catch a bus from Reykjavik to Hella or Hvolsvöllur. From Hella or Hvolsvöllur, you can take a local bus service towards the Highlands. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the nearest drop-off point for Panorama Ridge, you will need to hire a taxi or arrange a shuttle service to take you to the trailhead.
