From the center of Vik, head east on Þykkvabæjargata road toward the main road (Route 1). Continue straight until you reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left onto Route 1 heading towards Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Walk approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Uxafótafoss trailhead, which will be marked with signs. Follow the well-marked trail for about 15-20 minutes to arrive at Uxafótafoss waterfall.

Biking

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Vik and ride east on Þykkvabæjargata road toward Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and cycle for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the Uxafótafoss trailhead. Once you reach the trailhead, park your bike and continue on foot along the marked trail for about 15-20 minutes to reach the waterfall.
