Getting There

    From the center of Vík í Mýrdal, head west on Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1) for about 13 kilometers. Look for the sign for Dyrhólaey, and turn right onto Dyrhólavegur. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the entrance to Loftsalahellir Cave. Be sure to park in designated areas to avoid fines.

    Take the bus from the Vík í Mýrdal bus station heading towards Kirkjubæjarklaustur. You will need to get off at the Dyrhólaey stop.
