After about 45 km, take the exit for Route 36 towards Þingvellir. Follow Route 36 for approximately 30 km until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Hakið, which is located at coordinates 64.255187, -21.128438. Note that parking fees may apply, approximately ISK 750 per vehicle.
