Car
From Ísafjörður, take Route 61 south towards Þingeyri. Continue on Route 61 until you reach the junction with Route 62. Turn left onto Route 62 and follow it until you reach the town of Flókalundur. At Flókalundur, take Route 63 towards Ólafsvík. Once in Ólafsvík, follow local signs for Bæjarfoss, which is located just outside the town. The drive will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours depending on road conditions.

Start by taking a bus from Ísafjörður to Ólafsvík. You can check the schedules on the Strætó website for the most accurate times. Once you arrive in Ólafsvík, you will need to either walk or use a taxi service to reach Bæjarfoss, which is about 5 km from the bus station. Walking may take around 1 hour, and a taxi could cost approximately 2,500 ISK.

If you are in Ólafsvík and prefer a more direct route to Bæjarfoss, you can hire a taxi from the town. The cost will vary based on the taxi service, but expect to pay around 3,000 ISK for a one-way trip to the waterfall.
