Car
If you're driving, navigate to Húsavík, which is located on the eastern side of the Westfjords. From the town center, head south on Route 85. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto Route 1 and continue for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for the View Point, which is located at coordinates 65.6432137, -21.6374022. There is parking available near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
If you're relying on public transportation, take a bus from Ísafjörður to Húsavík. Check the local bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive in Húsavík, you can either walk (about 2 kilometers) or take a local taxi to the viewpoint. The walk will take approximately 25 minutes, heading south on Route 85, then turning left onto Route 1 until you reach the viewpoint.
Taxi
For a more direct route from Húsavík, you can hire a taxi to take you to the viewpoint. This option is convenient if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk. The taxi ride should take around 10 minutes and cost approximately 2,500 ISK, depending on traffic.
