If you are starting from downtown Idaho Falls, walk west on E Broadway St toward N Capital Ave. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach S 1st Ave. Turn left onto S 1st Ave and walk south for about 0.3 miles. You will reach the Idaho Falls River Walk. Follow the River Walk path along the Snake River, which will lead you toward the area where Keefer Island is located. Keep walking along the path for approximately 0.7 miles, and you will see Keefer Island on your right.
