Walk along the sidewalk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Old Brundage Mountain Rd. Turn right onto Old Brundage Mountain Rd. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass by residential areas and some scenic views. The Bear Basin Trailhead will be on your left, marked with a sign. The walk will take about 40 minutes, depending on your pace.

    If you have a bicycle, start at the McCall City Park. Head east on E Lake St toward N 3rd St. Continue straight and merge onto ID-55 N (N 3rd St). Bike along the designated bike lane for about 0.5 miles to the intersection with Old Brundage Mountain Rd. Turn right onto Old Brundage Mountain Rd. Continue biking for approximately 1.5 miles. The Bear Basin Trailhead will be on your left. The entire biking trip will take around 15-20 minutes.
