Getting There

• Car

  If you're already in Ponderosa State Park, start by heading south on Park Lane towards the main entrance of the park. Continue on Park Lane until you reach the intersection with Highway 55. Turn left onto Highway 55 and drive for approximately 1 mile. Look for signs indicating McCall. After 1 mile, turn right onto East Lake Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles and follow the road as it curves slightly to the left. Wild Horse Park will be on your right side.

• Bicycle

  From the center of Ponderosa State Park, take the loop road that circles the park and exit towards Park Lane. Follow the same route as the car guidance by heading south on Park Lane, then taking a left onto Highway 55. Be cautious of traffic while riding, and enjoy the scenic views. After reaching East Lake Street, continue straight, and you will find Wild Horse Park on your right side after about 0.5 miles.

• Walking

  For those looking to walk from Ponderosa State Park, exit the park towards Park Lane. Then, walk south along Park Lane until you reach Highway 55. Once at Highway 55, carefully cross to the other side and head north for about 1 mile until you reach East Lake Street. Turn right onto East Lake Street and walk until you see Wild Horse Park on your right side after approximately 0.5 miles. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
