    From Meridian, head to the closest bus stop. You can take the Valley Regional Transit bus route 42 South towards Boise. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 25 minutes, disembark at the 'Boise State University' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 1, heading towards 'Downtown Boise'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Julia Davis Park'. Once you get off, walk east for about 5 minutes along Julia Davis Drive, and you will arrive at the Idaho State Museum located at 610 Julia Davis Dr, Boise, ID 83702.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, start at the Meridian City Hall and take the Greenbelt path towards Boise. Follow the Greenbelt along the Boise River, passing through scenic parks. After about 6 miles, you'll reach the downtown area of Boise. Continue on the path until you arrive at Julia Davis Park. The museum is just a short ride east on Julia Davis Drive. Lock your bike at the bike rack available outside the museum.

    For an adventurous walk, start from the Meridian City Center. Head west on Main St towards N 3rd St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Idaho 55. Cross Idaho 55 and follow the sidewalk that leads you to the Greenbelt. Once you reach the Greenbelt, turn left and follow the path towards Boise. It will take approximately 2 hours to walk the 6 miles. Upon reaching downtown Boise, navigate towards Julia Davis Park. The Idaho State Museum is located at 610 Julia Davis Dr, just east of the park.
