From Meridian, head to the nearest bus stop on Eagle Road. Take the ValleyRide bus number 72 towards Boise. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Boise Transit Center. Once at the transit center, transfer to bus number 1 towards Downtown Boise. Ride this bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop near Julia Davis Park. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Zoo Boise located at 355 Julia Davis Dr.

If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Meridian. Start by heading south on Eagle Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Fairview Avenue. Turn left onto Fairview Avenue and bike straight into Boise. As you approach downtown, follow the signs to Julia Davis Park. The zoo is located within the park and is easy to spot.
