From central Owyhee, head south on US-95. Follow US-95 for approximately 15 miles. You will pass through scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Jordan Valley, Oregon. Once you reach the coordinates 3528-3538, US-95, you will find the Owyhee River History site on your right. There is no parking fee, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the river from the overlook.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is limited public transportation available directly to Owyhee River History. However, if you are in a nearby town, check for local bus services that might connect to Jordan Valley. Once you arrive in Jordan Valley, you can either walk or use a taxi service to reach 3528-3538, US-95. Walking from the town center is about a 10-minute walk.
