Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Sandpoint, head south on First Avenue towards Bridge Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street, and after a few blocks, you will see the entrance to Sandpoint City Beach Park on your right at 58 Bridge St. The park features beautiful waterfront views, picnic areas, and sandy beaches, making it a perfect spot to relax by the water.

• Biking

  From downtown Sandpoint, you can bike south on the paved bike path that runs along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Follow the path until you reach the bridge that crosses over to Bridge Street. Once you reach Bridge Street, turn right and continue biking until you see the entrance to Sandpoint City Beach Park at 58 Bridge St. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike while you enjoy the park.

• Public Transport

  If you're near the Sandpoint Transit Center, you can take the local bus that runs towards the beach. Board the bus and ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Bridge Street. Once you get off, walk south on Bridge Street for a short distance, and you will arrive at the entrance of Sandpoint City Beach Park at 58 Bridge St. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the most current times.
