Car
If you are traveling by car, you can reach the Sawtooth National Forest from various points within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Start by heading southeast on ID-75 from Stanley, ID. Continue for approximately 40 miles until you reach Jerome, ID. Once in Jerome, take the exit onto I-84 E toward Twin Falls. After about 3 miles, take exit 168 toward ID-25/Jerome. Follow the signs for ID-25 N and continue on American Ave. You will find the Sawtooth National Forest office at 370 American Ave, Jerome, ID 83338. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be a small parking fee depending on the area you choose to visit.
