Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, from any point within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, navigate towards Ketchum, Idaho. Use Highway 75, heading south until you reach the intersection with North Fork Canyon Road. Turn left onto North Fork Canyon Road and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. The Sawtooth NRA HQ & Visitors Center will be on your left at 5 N Frk Cyn Rd, Ketchum, ID 83340. There is parking available on-site.

    For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Mountain Rides Transportation Authority, which operates in the Ketchum area. Take the bus to the Ketchum city center. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Sawtooth NRA HQ & Visitors Center. The distance from the city center to the visitor center is approximately 1.5 miles. Be prepared for a short walk, as public transit may not provide direct service to the visitor center.
