Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Silver Valley and head north on ID-3 N. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit toward I-90 W/Spokane. Merge onto I-90 W and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 11 toward US-95 S/Coeur d'Alene. Merge onto US-95 S and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit for 4th St. and turn right onto 4th St. In about 0.5 miles, turn left onto S 3rd St. Tubbs Hill will be located on your right at 208 S 3rd St, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814. There is no entrance fee for Tubbs Hill.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, catch a bus from the Silver Valley area to Coeur d'Alene. Check the local bus schedules for the routes that connect these areas. Once you arrive in downtown Coeur d'Alene, head towards 4th St. and walk south on S 3rd St. for about 10 minutes. Tubbs Hill is located at 208 S 3rd St. Make sure to plan your return trip as bus services may have limited hours.

• Biking

  If you are an adventurous tourist and prefer biking, you can bike from Silver Valley to Tubbs Hill. Follow the same route as driving, utilizing bike lanes where available. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water. It is approximately a 30-minute ride, depending on your speed. Parking is available at Tubbs Hill for bikes.

• Walking

  For those staying nearby or who want to enjoy a scenic walk, you can walk from downtown Coeur d'Alene to Tubbs Hill. The distance is about 1 mile and will take approximately 20 minutes. Simply head south on S 3rd St. from downtown until you reach Tubbs Hill at 208 S 3rd St. This is a great way to enjoy the local scenery and fresh air.
