Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Silver Valley, head northwest on ID-3 N toward I-90 W. Merge onto I-90 W and continue for about 25 miles. Take exit 61 for ID-75 S toward Stanley. Continue on ID-75 S for approximately 50 miles until you reach the town of Stanley. Once in Stanley, turn left onto Yankee Fork Rd. The Yankee Fork Gold Dredge will be located at 300 Yankee Fork Rd, Stanley, ID 83278, approximately 5 miles down the road.

• Public Transportation

  While public transportation options are limited in Silver Valley, you can take a regional bus service (check local schedules) that travels to Stanley. You will need to confirm the bus schedule and routes, as they may not run daily. Once you arrive in Stanley, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Yankee Fork Gold Dredge at 300 Yankee Fork Rd, which is about 5 miles away.

  For the adventurous, consider biking from Silver Valley to the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge. Start by following ID-3 N toward I-90 W and then take the bike-friendly routes along ID-75 S toward Stanley. The ride is approximately 50 miles and can be challenging due to elevation changes, so ensure you have proper gear and are prepared for the journey. Once in Stanley, follow the same route as cars to reach the dredge.
