Car
If you are driving from Sun Valley, head southeast on ID-75 S. Continue on ID-75 S until you reach the junction with I-84 E. Merge onto I-84 E and drive for about 20 miles. Take exit 147 for ID-39 toward American Falls. Continue on ID-39 N for approximately 35 miles. Look for signs directing you to Register Rock State Historic Site, which is located off of Register Rd in American Falls. The site is approximately 1 mile from the main road, so keep an eye out for entrance signs.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options in Wood River Valley are limited. However, you can take a bus from the Wood River Valley area to Pocatello. Once in Pocatello, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Register Rock State Historic Site, which is about 45 miles away from Pocatello. Expect to pay around $50-$70 for a taxi to the site, depending on traffic and time of day.

For the more adventurous, biking to Register Rock State Historic Site is possible but requires good planning. From Ketchum, take ID-75 S to the junction with I-84 E, then follow the same route as drivers from Sun Valley. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay on the shoulder of the road, as traffic can be heavy. The distance is roughly 55 miles one way, so plan for a full day of biking.
