Car
If you are driving from cities like Tuxtla Gutiérrez or Villahermosa, head northwest on the highway towards San Cristóbal de las Casas. From there, take the highway towards Ocozocoautla and then continue to the junction for Highway 190. Follow Highway 190 until you reach the intersection with Highway 175. Take Highway 175 towards the northwest. After approximately 200 km, follow the signs toward Massacre Rocks State Park, which will lead you to the park entrance. Make sure to have a GPS or a reliable map, as some sections may not have clear signage.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Tuxtla Gutiérrez to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Once you arrive in San Cristóbal, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Ocozocoautla. After you reach Ocozocoautla, look for local buses or shared taxis that head towards the junction of Highway 190. From there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to take you to the park, as public transport may not go directly to the park entrance.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you are already near the park or in a nearby town, consider hiring a taxi or using a ride-sharing app to reach Massacre Rocks State Park. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. It may be more expensive than public transport, but it offers a direct route to the park and is more convenient, especially if traveling with luggage.
