Start your journey from the center of Ketchum, Idaho. Head northwest on Main St toward Sun Valley Rd. Continue on Sun Valley Rd for approximately 1 mile. Then, turn left onto East Fork Rd and follow it for about 3 miles. You will see the Salmon River Historical Marker on your right side, just before the bridge over the Salmon River. There is a small pull-off area where you can park your car safely to view the marker.

If you are using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Mountain Rides Transit system. Take the bus that goes towards Sun Valley and get off at the stop near East Fork Rd. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to reach the Salmon River Historical Marker. Simply walk east on East Fork Rd, and you will find the marker before the bridge over the Salmon River.
