Car
From the main entrance of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, head south on ID-75 towards the town of Stanley. Continue on ID-75 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with Redfish Lake Road. Turn left onto Redfish Lake Road and continue for about 8 miles. Look for the signs directing you to North Shore Picnic Area, which will be on your left. Parking is available at the picnic area.

Take a shuttle service from the town of Stanley that operates during the summer months. Check local schedules for routes to Redfish Lake. Once you arrive at Redfish Lake, walk along the designated paths towards the North Shore Picnic Area, which is about a half-mile from the shuttle stop. Note that shuttle services may charge a fee, typically around $10 per person for a round trip.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from local rental shops in Stanley. Follow ID-75 south for about 20 miles, then turn onto Redfish Lake Road.
