From Arlington Heights, walk to the nearest bus stop for the PACE bus service. Take the PACE Route 696 bus towards the 'Schaumburg' direction. Get off at the stop at 'Rand & Arlington Heights Rd'. From there, transfer to the PACE Route 607 bus heading towards 'Woodfield'. Get off at the 'Schaumburg' stop. From here, take the Metra train from 'Schaumburg' station towards 'Chicago Union Station'. Alight at the 'Harold Washington Library' station. After exiting, head east on W Washington St towards S State St, then turn right onto S State St. Walk south until you reach the intersection with E 48th St. Turn left onto E 48th St, and you will arrive at Hall Branch, Chicago Public Library.
