From Arlington Heights, walk to the Arlington Heights Metra Station located at 45 W Northwest Hwy. Board the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train toward Chicago. Stay on the train for approximately 40 minutes (make sure to check the schedule for specific train times). Once you arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, exit the station and follow the signs to the 'Chicago 'L' train. Take the Pink Line or Blue Line subway to the Washington/Wells station. From there, transfer to the Brown Line and get off at the Washington/Wells station. Walk 0.6 miles east toward Navy Pier, located at 600 E Grand Ave, following signs for Lake Michigan.
