    From Arlington Heights station, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once at Ogilvie, exit the station and walk to the Washington/Wells train station. From there, take the 'Pink Line' train towards 54th/Cermak. Get off at the Damen station, then transfer to the 'Blue Line' train towards O'Hare. Disembark at the Grand station. From Grand station, walk east on Grand Avenue, then turn right onto N State Street. Walk north until you reach W Superior Street. Turn left onto W Superior Street, and the Poetry Foundation will be on your left at 61 W Superior St.

    Begin at the Arlington Heights Metra station and catch the Pace bus Route 695 towards the Rosemont station. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Rosemont station. From there, transfer to the Blue Line train at the Rosemont station towards UIC-Halsted. Travel for around 30 minutes and get off at the Grand station. Exit the station and walk east on Grand Avenue, then turn right onto N State Street. Walk north until you reach W Superior Street. Turn left onto W Superior Street, and you will find the Poetry Foundation at 61 W Superior St on your left.

    If you are already in downtown Arlington Heights, you can start at the Village Hall. Head south on S Arlington Heights Rd towards E Campbell St. Turn left onto E Campbell St and continue until you reach N Dunton Ave. Turn right onto N Dunton Ave. Walk straight for about 0.8 miles until you reach the Arlington Heights train station. From there, follow the earlier train instructions to reach the Poetry Foundation, or use your preferred navigation app to find the best walking route through the area.
