Walking
If you are near the corner of State Street and Division Street in Gold Coast, head north on State Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes). You will pass several boutiques and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with North Avenue, continue straight until you reach Clark Street. Turn left onto Clark Street, and Washington Square Park will be on your right at 901 N Clark St.
Public Transit - Bus
From any location in Gold Coast, you can catch the #22 Clark bus. Find the nearest bus stop on Clark Street. Board the bus heading south and get off at the stop for North Avenue. Walk a short distance north on Clark Street, and Washington Square Park will be on your left. Note that a single ride on the bus costs $2.50.
Public Transit - Subway
You can also take the Red Line subway from nearby stations such as Chicago or Clark/Division. Board the train heading towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Get off at the Clark/Division stop. From there, walk east on Division Street until you reach Clark Street, then head north on Clark Street. Washington Square Park will be on your right. A single subway ride costs $2.50.
