Walking
If you are starting from downtown Aurora, head west on West Downer Place until you reach the intersection with River Street. Turn right onto River Street and continue walking north. Follow River Street as it curves left and becomes North Avenue. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards North Aurora Island Park as you approach the intersection with Randall Road. You will cross over the Fox River on the North Avenue bridge. After crossing, turn left at the first traffic light onto North Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to North Aurora Island Park on your left.

From downtown Aurora, catch the PACE bus route 530 at the Aurora Transportation Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at North Avenue and Randall Road. Once you disembark, walk west on North Avenue for about 10 minutes. The entrance to North Aurora Island Park will be on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your trip.
