After crossing the Fox River, continue straight onto IL-31 S. Walk for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with W 7th Ave. Turn right onto W 7th Ave and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Brainard St. The Fort Payne Historic Site will be located at 450 S Brainard St, Naperville, IL 60540.

From the Aurora Transportation Center, take the Pace Bus Route 715 towards Naperville. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of S Brainard St and W 5th Ave. From there, it will be a short walk to Fort Payne Historic Site, located at 450 S Brainard St. Head south on S Brainard St for about 0.3 miles to reach your destination.
