From anywhere in Berwyn, walk to the nearest Pace bus stop. Take the Pace Route 302 bus towards the 'Cicero Orange Line Station'. Get off at the Cicero Station. From there, board the 'Orange Line' train towards 'Midway'. Get off at the 'Harold Washington Library' station. Transfer to the 'Red Line' train. Take the 'Red Line' towards 'Howard' and get off at the 'Chicago' station. From the station, walk east on Washington Street towards State Street, then turn left onto State Street. Continue walking north until you reach Michigan Avenue. Turn right onto Michigan Avenue, and the City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower will be on your left at 806 Michigan Ave.

If you are staying in Berwyn and prefer to walk, find your way to Ogden Avenue and head north. Continue walking until you reach the Berwyn Metra Station. From there, take the Metra UP-W line towards 'Chicago Union Station'. Get off at the 'Union Station' stop. Walk east on Adams Street until you reach State Street, then turn left and proceed north until you reach the intersection with Michigan Avenue. Turn right, and the City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower will be on your left at 806 Michigan Ave.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from a local bike share service. Start by cycling north on Ridgeland Avenue until you reach the intersection with Ogden Avenue. Turn right onto Ogden and continue until you reach the intersection with Cicero Avenue. Turn left onto Cicero and follow it north to the Cicero Green Line station. Board the Green Line towards 'Harlem' and get off at the 'Harold Washington Library' station.
