Getting There

    From Bolingbrook, head to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Line. Take the Pace Route 755 towards the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train station in Downers Grove. Get off at the Downers Grove Main Street Train Station. From there, board the Metra Train on the BNSF Line towards Chicago Union Station. After approximately 30-40 minutes, disembark at the Western Ave Station. Once you exit the station, walk to the nearby Western Ave bus stop and catch the CTA Bus #49 towards the 'Western & Division' stop. Get off at the Damen Ave & North Ave stop and walk north on Damen Ave for about 0.2 miles until you reach Wicker Park at 1425 N Damen Ave.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Bolingbrook. Head east on Boughton Rd until you reach the DuPage River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection with the Illinois Prairie Path. Turn right onto the Illinois Prairie Path and continue towards Downers Grove. Once in Downers Grove, connect to the streets that lead to the BNSF Metra Line. Bike towards the Metra station and take the train to Chicago Union Station. From there, ride your bike north on Damen Ave for about 3 miles until you reach Wicker Park at 1425 N Damen Ave.

    While it's quite a distance to walk from Bolingbrook to Wicker Park, if you are up for the challenge, start by heading east on Boughton Rd until you reach the nearest bus stop for Pace Route 755. Take the bus to the Downers Grove Main Street Train Station, and then catch the Metra Train on the BNSF Line towards Chicago Union Station. After arriving at Union Station, exit and walk north on Canal St, then turn east onto Adams St. Continue walking until you reach Damen Ave, then head north for about 3 miles to Wicker Park located at 1425 N Damen Ave.
