To get to Nichols Bridgeway in Chicago from Bolingbrook, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. Use the Pace bus service and take the Route 755 towards the Romeoville Metra station. Once you arrive at the Romeoville Metra station, transfer to the Metra Heritage Corridor train towards Chicago Union Station. After a short ride, disembark at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, exit and head northeast to the Canal Street exit. Walk along Canal Street until you reach the intersection with Adams Street. Continue walking east on Adams Street until you reach State Street. Turn north on State Street and walk until you reach the bridge that leads to Nichols Bridgeway, which is located at the south end of Millennium Park. Follow the signs leading you to the bridge.

From there, head towards the north end of the park where you will see the entrance to Nichols Bridgeway. Follow the pedestrian pathway that leads up to the bridge. The entrance to the bridge is clearly marked, and it will take you directly across to the other side where you can enjoy beautiful views of the park and the city skyline.

Rent a bike and start by heading towards the nearest bike path that leads north to the Busse Woods or towards the Salt Creek Trail.
