Public Transit (Train)
If you are near a 'L' station, take the Red Line or the Blue Line towards downtown Chicago. If you're on the Red Line, get off at the 'State/Lake' station. If you're on the Blue Line, transfer to the Red Line at 'Washington/Wells' and continue to 'State/Lake'. From there, exit the station and walk east towards Grant Park. The park will be just a few blocks away, at the intersection of E. Congress Parkway and S. Michigan Ave.
Public Transit (Bus)
Look for bus routes that stop near Grant Park. Routes 1, 3, 4, and 60 all have stops close to the park. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and request to be dropped off at the 'Michigan & Congress' stop. After getting off, walk a short distance east to enter Grant Park, which spans several blocks.
Walking
If you are close enough to walk to Grant Park, head towards S. Michigan Ave. Follow S. Michigan Ave until you reach the park. You will notice the large open spaces and various attractions as you approach. Grant Park is located between E. Balbo Ave and E. Congress Parkway, and it is bordered by S. Michigan Ave and S. Columbus Dr.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can use the Chicago bike lanes to reach Grant Park. Head towards S. Michigan Ave and follow the bike lanes that lead into the park. There are bike racks available near various entrances, allowing you to secure your bike while you explore the park.
