Getting There

• Public Transit - CTA Train

  If you are near a CTA train station, take the Red Line or Blue Line trains. For the Red Line, board a train towards 95th/Dan Ryan and get off at the State/Lake station. From the station, head south on State Street, then turn left on Adams Street. Walk two blocks until you reach LaSalle Street, then turn right. The Rookery Building will be on your left at 209 S La Salle St. If you are taking the Blue Line, board a train towards UIC-Halsted, get off at the Washington station, then head east to State Street. Turn right and walk south until you reach Adams, then turn left and walk to LaSalle Street to find the building.

• Bus

  Check the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus routes for any buses that stop near your current location. For example, you can take the #20 bus (Madison) or #147 bus (Outer Drive Express). Get off at the intersection of LaSalle and Adams Street. From there, walk south on LaSalle Street; The Rookery Building will be on your right at 209 S La Salle St.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Chicago Loop, you can walk to The Rookery Building. Locate LaSalle Street and head south. If you are near landmarks like the Chicago Board of Trade or the Harold Washington Library, exit towards LaSalle Street and walk south until you reach 209 S La Salle St. The building is easily recognizable by its historical architecture.
