Getting There

• Walking

  From anywhere in the West Loop, head east toward State Street. If you are near the intersection of Randolph Street and Halsted Street, walk east on Randolph until you reach State Street. Turn right (south) on State Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Wacker Drive. The Chicago River Walk at State Street is located at the corner of Wacker Drive and North State Street. It's a straight path, and you'll enjoy the sights of the area along the way.

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are near the Ashland or Damen bus stops, you can catch the #20 bus heading eastbound towards the Loop. Get off at the stop at State Street and Wacker Drive. From there, walk a short distance south on State Street to reach the Chicago River Walk. Make sure you have a Ventra card for payment, which costs $2.50 for a single ride.

• Public Transit - Train

  If you are near the Damen or Polk train stations, take the Pink Line towards the Loop. Transfer at 18th Street to the Blue Line towards O'Hare and get off at Washington Station. From there, exit the station and walk east on Washington Street until you hit State Street. Turn south on State Street, and you will reach the Chicago River Walk at Wacker Drive in just a few minutes. The train fare is $2.50, and you will need a Ventra card.
