From downtown Waukegan, head to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Genesee St and Washington St. Take the Pace Bus Route 567 towards 'Lake County Fairgrounds.' You will need to transfer at the 'Lake County Fairgrounds' stop to the Pace Bus Route 213 towards 'Northwestern University.' This bus will take you directly to Northwestern University. Get off at the stop on Clark St, and the university is right across the street.

Start at the Waukegan Metra Station located at 100 S. Green Bay Rd. Take the Metra Union Pacific North Line train towards Chicago. Get off at the Evanston Central Station. From there, exit the station and walk east on Church St until you reach Clark St. Turn right on Clark St and continue walking until you reach 633 Clark St, which is Northwestern University.
