If you're driving to the Riverwalk, start by getting onto I-90/I-94 (Kennedy Expressway) heading towards downtown Chicago. Take the exit for Ohio St and continue onto Ohio St. Follow Ohio St until you reach State St. Turn right onto State St, and then turn left onto W Wacker Dr. You will find parking options nearby, such as the River East Center Garage. Once parked, walk towards the river, and you will find the Riverwalk entrance.

To reach the Riverwalk via public transportation, find the nearest 'L' train station. The closest station is the State/Lake station on the Brown, Pink, Purple, and Orange lines. Take the train and disembark at State/Lake. After exiting the station, head east on W Lake St towards State St. Turn right onto State St and walk south until you reach W Wacker Dr. Turn left onto W Wacker Dr, and you'll see the Riverwalk entrance along the river.
